How Personal Training With Me Works
Consultation

This is an opportunity to get to know each other, especially your goals, your why, lifestyle, previous training, and injury history.
Nutrition Coaching

Nutrition is essential, especially for fat loss. Your rate of progress will depend on how good your nutrition is. We will sit down together to discuss the principles of nutrition and ensure you know what changes to make.
Body Analysis

From day one, we will take weekly measurements to track your progress and provide impartial feedback on your nutrition.
Assessment

The main aim of the first session is for me to get an idea of your abilities, including how you move, your mobility, posture, what exercises you enjoy, what you're good at, and what needs extra focus.
Programme

Every client gets an individualised programme based on their needs and goals. This is in Excel format and you will be able to access this any time via OneDrive.
Training

The fun part! I will guide you through every session. Starting with an effective warm up, to prime your body for performance and reduce the risk of injury. I always prioritise good technique and efficient use of your valuable time.
Motivation

I will always try and get the best out of you. I will let you know when you do well, but also be honest, yet non-judgemental, when you need to improve.
An important note: You cannot rely on me alone for motivation, you need to be sufficiently self-motivated too!
Communication

Progress doesn't stop when you leave the gym, and neither should coaching! Let's communicate regularly outside of the sessions to make sure you're on track and allow me to identify what further information and support you need.
Results

My priority is to help you achieve clear and measurable results you are delighted with. I take pride in my work and will take responsibility for your success.
Education

You'll get guaranteed results with the right effort, but I believe the greatest value is the education you will receive to help make fitness a life long endevour!

"I left it a bit late to get my fitness back on track after a sedentary 30 year career in computing. After a year's strength training, I'm feeling a lot better and becoming more aware of eating healthier."
